Choosing an audio bitrate
A higher bitrate can retain more detail but creates a larger file. The source audio quality sets the upper limit; converting to a higher bitrate cannot restore detail that is not in the original stream.

- 192 kbps is a balanced everyday option.
- 256 or 320 kbps creates larger files and is best reserved for strong source audio.
