MP4 and WebM
MP4 with H.264 is widely compatible across phones, computers, editors and TVs. WebM can offer efficient modern codecs, but support varies in older apps and devices.
Resolution is not the whole quality story
1080p describes frame dimensions, not encoding quality. Bitrate, codec and source quality also affect detail. A lower-resolution clean source can look better than a heavily compressed larger frame.
MP3 and audio bitrates
MP3 is broadly compatible. Opus is often more efficient, while WAV is much larger and does not improve already compressed source audio.
- 128 kbps: compact speech and casual listening.
- 192 kbps: balanced quality and size.
- 256–320 kbps: larger files for strong source audio.
Why processing can take longer
Some platforms deliver video and audio separately at higher resolutions. SavePop may need to fetch and combine both streams before your final file is ready.
